Agree or disagree:  "Anyone can do any amount of work provided it isn't the work he is supposed to be doing at the moment." -- Robert Benchley

  1. I completley agree with this quote. I pften find myself in school going over the top on an unrelated project when I am supposed to be doing research for another class. Granted I enjoy the premise of the project.

  2. I agree with this quote. I often find myself completing projects that aren't necessary, simply to avoid other projects I don't want to do. It's still fufilling, so I don't feel as guilty as I would if I were just procrastinating.

    1. I am the world's worst procrastinator. I will work very hard at tasks I enjoy, but as soon as they become part of my official "work," I lose much of my interest.

  3. I agree with this quotation 100%. I find myself distracted on meaningless tasks instead of working on what needs done. Sure, I completed something else, but what I needed to have done isn't completed, and I always end up doing more work than I originally had to.

  4. I agree with this quote because it happened to me yesterday. To avoid doing something that I either don't understand or takes a lot of effort, I end up doing something different that is easy. I do the easy thing and make it really neat and precise, and leave the difficult thing for the last minute.

  5. I completely agree with this quote! Even if it's the day right before a project is due, I still find time to have a snack, work on my essay for next week, read a few chapters of the book I just started, sketch out something I've been meaning to draw, and clean my room before actually starting the project. I usually finish around 4:00am, which gives me two and a half full hours of rest before getting up again!

  6. I agree with this quote because I find myself doing unnecessary projects to distract myself of to avoid other assignments I don't feel like doing.

  7. I agree with this quote. It is much easier to do something that is not required to be done. Also, it is more enjoyable to work on something without limits or restraints, but when the work becomes necessary, it takes the fun out of it.
